Job description: Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 4:30pm, including a 30-min unpaid lunch and two 15-min paid breaks

Weekly working hours: 40

Working days per year: 260

Salary Range: $80,552 - $88,259



The Payroll Specialist 2 responsibilities may include the processing of salaried pay transactions, attendance tracking, fringe benefit administration, retirement, health insurance, worker?s compensation, FMLA and/or PFML. Assists the Payroll Officer with all aspects of payroll development, providing technical expertise, research, and assistance to colleagues, employees, and administrators. Work Calendar:



Benefit Eligibility: Insurance: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, basic life insurance, and accidental death and dismemberment insurance.*

Retirement Plans: This position is eligible for an IRA through and a 403(b) TSA Retirement Savings Plan.

Paid Holidays: This position is eligible for up to 13 paid holidays per year. The number of holidays depends on employee's start and end dates.

Paid Time Off: Annual employees earn 12 days of vacation per school year. Employees working 237-260 days per school year earn 12 days of sick leave. Up to 3 days of personal leave may be granted each school year. Vacation, sick leave, and personal leave are based on scheduled hours and position start date.



*Snoqualmie Valley School District benefits are administered by the Washington State Healthcare Authority (HCA) under the . Eligibility for benefits is determined by the number of hours employees are anticipated to work during the school year (September 1 through August 31). Any employee who is scheduled to work 630 hours or more for SVSD in a school year, including substitute work, is eligible for benefits. Eligibility will be re-established at the start of each school year.
