The Audio Operator I Will Provide Support For Audio Mixing (A1) And/Or Audio Assistance (A2) For Live Events, Film Production And Pre-Recorded Content For The ESPN Family Of Networks And Distribution Platforms. As An Audio Technician (A1), You Must Be Able To Mix And Monitor All Audio Sources, Including But Not Limited To Microphones, Music, Sound Effects And Natural Sounds. As An Audio Assistant (A2), You Must Have Experience In Setting Up Internal Intercom/PL Communications And Be Proficient In Rigging Microphones/Ifbs. This Person Is Expected To Work Closely With The Production Team To Maintain ESPN's High Standards For Audio Quality For All Media Content. This Individual Will Demonstrate Proficiency In The Use Of All Media And Technology Resources Within The Assigned Work Area. <strong>Work </strong> <ul> <li>Oversee All Operational And Technical Aspects Of Assigned Remote Programs.</li> <li>Operates All Media And Technical Equipment Within The Assigned Functional Area, Including But Not Limited To Audio Mixing Consoles, External Equipment, Audio And Video Converters, Digital Media Servers, Microphones And Ifbs And Their Signals Go, Bad Mix, Intercom devices and Software, Media. Routers, Etc. Measure Audio Signals To Ensure Quality Control Of ESPN Standards In All Operations Using In-Depth Knowledge Of Media Channels.</li> <li>Measure Audio Signals To Ensure Quality Control Of ESPN Approved Standards In All Operations Using In-Depth Knowledge Of Broadcast Channels.</li> <li>Create A Plan And Share Complex Information Between The Control Room / Studio / Remote Teams In A Clear And Concise Manner To Ensure Successful Production.</li> <li>Participate In Special Event Coverage And Duties As Required</li> <li>Solve Problems And Diagnose Problems Using Effective Communication To Come Up With The Best Problem And Solution. File Reports, As Necessary, On Specific Work Conditions And Resource Levels As Required By Management.</li> <li>Research Information About The Work Processes Of Other Business Units, Including Their Direct Impact And / Or Integration With The Production / Work Of DMED, And Use This Information To Improve The Process And / Or Educate Others.</li> <li>Participates In Training Programs (Physical, Classroom, Virtual, Etc.)
