Key Responsibilities:
As a Front Desk Agent at Scalesforth, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk and enhancing the overall guest experience. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Guest Relations: Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, assist with check-in and check-out procedures, and provide exceptional customer service.
Reservation Management: Handle guest reservations and inquiries efficiently, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for guests, addressing their needs, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally.
Problem Solving: Effectively resolve guest issues, escalating to management when necessary, and proactively identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience.
Multitasking: Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, including handling phone calls, emails, and in-person requests, while maintaining a professional and courteous attitude.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:
High school diploma or equivalent. A degree in hospitality or a related field is a plus.
Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role is preferred.
Strong communication skills with proficiency in English. Knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating a positive and guest-centric attitude.
Ability to handle challenging situations with grace and composure.
Proficiency in using computer software and systems for reservations and check-ins.
Availability to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
