<b>What you will do:</b>

The Government Contract Associate will develop and execute US Government Contracting strategies. In this role you will build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders with the overall goal of simplifying the US Government sales process.

 

Additional responsibilities: <ul> <li>Drive contract portfolio growth while utilizing direct and indirect channel methods leading to significant sales growth in the government market</li> <li>Provide direct technical and administrative product support to the Government Account Managers (GAMs)</li> <li>Serve as subject matter expert for Stryker?s Government Contracting Portfolio</li> <li>Develop acquisition strategies by assessing and identifying gaps in direct channel versus indirect channel contract portfolios; target items for direct/indirect contract additions</li> <li>Research on-contract portfolio coverage by Business Unit (BU); conduct meetings with marketing, product managers, and business units regarding additional on-contract product coverage and product releases</li> <li>Reduce duplication of on-contract product offerings between direct and indirect channels</li> <li>Process appropriate contract compliance measures such as Country of Origin, Procedural Package, Open Market, and other legal language notifications</li> <li>Ensure centralized legal coordination enabling standardization of key Government terms and conditions, limiting exposure to business and compliance risks; enable standardization of U.S. Government contracting approach</li> <li>Assist Contract Managers and Team Leaders with Contract compliance sustainment such as: Country of Origin compliance, Quarterly VA SLA/IFF payments, satisfaction of negotiated terms & conditions, and other requirements leading to positive annual CPARs ratings</li> <li>Develop standardized quoting templates ensuring identification of Government legal approved terms and conditions; standardizes pricing methodologies and product offerings by customer type</li> <li>Coordinate with Enablement team to pull Global Item Master (GIM) data and ensure contract life cycle accuracy</li> <li>Partner with Enablement and Data Intelligence to justify/standardize Government pricing and maintain appropriate ERP systems:??SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle, etc.</li> <li>Process quarterly/reoccurring SLA/IFF rebate payments in partnership with Enablement; finalize contract compliance notifications; process cross-division Intercompany exchanges for rebate payments; maintain audit-ready Contract compliance filing system</li> <li>Initiate Government Legal coordination on direct channel RFI/RFQ responses; assists team leaders on submission of major IDIQ and MSPV proposals</li> <li>Draft contract addition requests, DLA ECAT loaders, and custom part number loaders to maximize on contract product offerings</li> <li>Draft RFI and RFQ responses; ensure Contract Manager and Team Leader coordination on proposal drafts</li> <li>Work with divisional partners (Marketing/Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance/Strategic Sales Organization) to develop and submit RFI/RFQ proposals</li> </ul> <b>?</b>

<b>What you need:</b>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor?s degree or 6+ years of experience in addition to the below requirement required</li>
<li>4+ years of experience required</li>
<li>Proven experience working with and managing data and trends required</li>
<li>Strong Excel experience - highly preferred</li>
<li>Experience working with government contracts - preferred</li>
<li>Experience with sales contracts - preferred</li>
</ul>
 

$83,000 - $176,800 salary plus bonus eligible + Benefits (Health, Vision, Dental, 401k, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Assistance Program, Wellbeing Program, Employee Stock Purchase Program). This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position based on current national data. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

 

 

Travel Percentage: 30%
