The position collaborates with Student Services assisting with presentations, events, campus tours and advisement.</p><p><strong>Duties & Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Assists in planning and organizing activities to generate leads for the recruitment of prospective students</li><li>Visits businesses, churches and other organizations to develop prospective students</li><li>Collaborates and conducts college-wide recruitment initiatives with public and private high schools</li><li>Interacts with high school personnel and coordinates visits to the campus</li><li>Creates and maintains student databases</li><li>Guides students with the admissions process as needed</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><strong>Minimum Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree with three (3) years of related experience</li><li>All degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution</li><li>Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goals and objectives, and policies and procedures</li><li>Possess excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills</li><li>Ability to demonstrate positive human relations skills</li><li>Ability to drive and travel to and from office for recruitment activities</li><li>Ability to work outdoors performing recruitment activities</li><li>Possess strong communication skills</li><li>Ability to work and communicate effectively in a multi-cultural environment</li><li>Ability to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty and staff</li></ul><p>____________________________________________________________________</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Part-Time Student Success Coach</strong></p><p>The Part-Time Student Success Coach serves as a mentor to the students participating in the program. The position provides individualized case management and educational plans for participants. The Student Success Coach meets with students on a regular basis and facilitates activities for the program. This is a temporary grant funded position.</p><p><strong>Duties & Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Recruits students to participate in the program</li><li>Presents and promotes projects to organizations</li><li>Serves as a mentor to program participants</li><li>Meets with participants in sessions designed to increase motivation, achievement and academic success</li><li>Identifies resources for participants</li><li>Assists in the planning and execution of program activities</li><li>Assists participants with admissions, enrollment, educational and financial information</li><li>Verifies participant eligibility</li><li>Processes participants forms and documents, as needed</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><strong>Minimum Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor?s degree in Psychology, Education or related field and three (3) years of related experience</li><li>All degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution</li><li>Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goals and objectives, and policies and procedures</li><li>Knowledge and proficiency in computers, especially Microsoft Office applications</li><li>Ability to work independently and take initiative and responsibility for scheduling individual sessions with program participants</li><li>Possess strong oral and written communication skills</li><li>Ability to meet deadlines and with attention to detail</li><li>Ability to work a flexible schedule to include evening and weekend assignments</li><li>Ability to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty and staff</li></ul><p><br></p>
