Service Technician

<p>The Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing our various vending and fountain equipment in the field.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Performing mechanical service on cold drink equipment</li><li>Installing mechanical components</li><li>Customer interaction</li><li>Inventory control</li><li>Maintain Company vehicle</li><li>Cross training</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum age 18 years old</li><li>Valid driver?s license required and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED ?eet policy</li><li>Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies</li><li>Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job</li><li>Ability to read, write and speak English</li><li>Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines</li><li>Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets</li><li>Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology</li><li>One-year certi?cate from college or technical school; or 24 to 48 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience</li><li>A minimum of 2-4 years knowledge of Cold Drink Equipment or appliance repair needed.</li><li>Ability to read wiring diagrams, repair manuals, and use a Multi-Meter</li><li>Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, or ?exible schedule as required</li><li>Basic Equipment Service Training (BEST)/ Automated Beverage System (ABS)/ Advanced ABS/ Hot Beverage and Coca-Cola Freestyle (CCFS) training with a passing mark through approved Coca-Cola North America (CCNA) instructor</li><li>Refrigeration Certi?cation Type 1 required</li><li>Knowledge of electrical theory and practical applications</li><li>Ability to analyze and problem solve to respond and resolve any customer issues</li><li>Ability to work with all functional team members</li><li>Microsoft Excel knowledge preferred</li><li>Use hand and power tools</li><li>Frequent sitting</li><li>Continuous bending, kneeling/squatting, overhead reaching, grasping, ?ne manipulation, and exposure to chemical and weather</li><li>Repeated standing, walking, climbing stairs, typing/keyboard, vehicle operation, pushing/pulling, lifting, carrying ? up to 50 lbs., and exposure to water and noise</li></ul>
