The Corporate Accounting team plays a critical role in our month-end close processes and global expansion. In the role of Senior Accountant, International Accounting, you will assist in the preparation and consolidation of GAAP financial statements, the reconciliations of accounts, and the analysis of cash flow. You will also support budgets and forecasts, audits, internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. This is an opportunity to join an innovative and growing global company where you can have a direct impact on implementing and executing accounting operations, as well as play a vital part in supporting global accounting processes.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br><br></strong><ul><li> Support the month end close process, including assistance and preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations and preparation of the monthly reporting package </li><li> Support operational accounting functions, including accounts Receivable, accounts payable and inventory </li><li> Monthly balance sheet and P&amp;L preparation, review, analysis, and reporting </li><li> Responsible for accurate reporting of financial transactions including but not limited to inventory, cash, fixed assets, accruals, and other keys accounts </li><li> Assist with the compilation and support requests for external audits including statutory audits </li><li> Assist in the development of new or amended accounting procedures and policies </li><li> Assist in the compilation of monthly variance explanations for finance for trends, budgeting, and forecasting. </li><li> Analyze account trends and review accounts for errors, preparing adjustments when needed </li><li> Assist in the preparation and completion of ad hoc management reporting </li><li> Perform other duties as required <br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br><br></strong><ul><li> Bachelor's degree in accounting, required (CPA or equivalent a plus). </li><li> 5-7 years of accounting experience, required </li><li> Public accounting, required </li><li> Thorough understanding of GAAP and cost accounting principles, required </li><li> Major ERP system preferred, advanced Excel knowledge required </li><li> Knowledge and understanding of IFRS preferred </li><li> Intercompany Accounting preferred </li><li> Must have experience leading audit annual cycles or audit firm experience <br><br><br></li></ul>Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities<br><br>The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
