Job Responsibilities <ul><li>Design and implement Micro Service Architecture JEE software applications </li><li>Use modern software engineering tools including Eclipse, Rational Application Developer (RAD), and Atlassian Suites for the design, development, and testing of software. </li></ul>Qualifications Required Skills <ul><li>Bachelor?s degree in computer science or related engineering field with 5+ years of technical experience</li><li>Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS public trust that requires US Citizenship</li><li>Provisioning, operating, and maintaining systems running on AWS (or equivalent cloud providers)</li><li>Development of Java Micro Service Architecture and Spring Boot Framework</li><li>DBMS such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, DocumentDB, HBase with JDBC </li><li>Developing and debugging complex SQL queries </li><li>Unix, Linux</li><li>Experience with object-oriented analysis and design techniques</li><li>Thorough understanding of developing scalable web applications - infrastructure (firewalls, load balancers, storage, monitoring, security etc.) and have experience with orchestration to develop a cloud solution</li><li>HTML, CSS and JavaScript</li><li>High level of self-motivation, desire to deliver stellar solutions and willingness to work in a distributed team environment</li><li>Ability to lead and mentor junior level developers</li><li>JPA/Hibernate</li><li>XML/JSON</li><li>JUnit </li></ul>Desired Skills <ul><li>Experience working on an agile team such as Scrum </li><li>Experience in AWS (e.g., S3, SQS, EC2, Lambda, Elasticache, MongoDB, Cassandra ?)</li><li>JQuery, Angular, NodeJS, React</li><li>HTML, CSS and JavaScript</li><li>Docker, Konvoy, Kubernetes</li><li>Jenkins, Gitlab, Monitoring Tools </li></ul>Covid Policy SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters.
