MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Grades Kindergarten - 3
Arizona Elementary Certificate K-8
OR
Arizona Early Childhood Certificate, Birth to Age-8
Grades 4-5
Arizona Elementary Certificate K-8
Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
Certain endorsement/approved areas(s) may be required for highly qualified/appropriately certified purposes.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Experience teaching in a virtual environment.
Bilingual (Spanish) endorsement
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.

Effective: 2021-2022 SCHOOL YEAR
Location: Tucson Unified Virtual Academy - Remote
FTE: 1.0 ? 7.5 hours per day
Work Calendar: 9.5 month
Grade Levels currently available:
? Kindergarten - 2 positions
? 1st Grade - 2 positions
? 2nd Grade - 2 positions
? 3rd Grade - 2 positions
? 4th Grade - 2 positions
? 5th Grade - 2 positions
This position is funded through the ESSER Grant. There is potential that this position may end when grant funding expires. The ESSER Grant is expected to last for three years.
Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
Internal candidates will transfer at a rate commensurate with their bargaining unit language. For more information on salary schedule, please reference the Employee Agreements Webpage.
Probationary Contracts will be issued for any contingent Certifications, Positions that are 0.6 FTE or less, and certified employees within their first three years with the District.
