Role Overview: As a Google Sales Engineer, you will be instrumental in driving sales growth by leveraging your technical expertise to support the sales process. Collaborating closely with the sales team, you will understand customer requirements, propose tailored solutions, and demonstrate the value of our Google Cloud offerings. Your responsibilities will encompass providing pre-sales technical consultation, designing customized solutions, conducting product demonstrations, and delivering post-sales support to ensure customer success.
Key Responsibilities
? Technical Consultation: Engage with customers to comprehensively understand their technical requirements and business challenges. Provide expert guidance on how our Google Cloud solutions can address these challenges and deliver tangible value.
? Solution Design: Collaborate with customers to design customized solutions aligned with their specific needs and objectives. Architect comprehensive solutions that leverage our Google... Cloud offerings to optimize customer outcomes.
? Product Demonstration: Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features, capabilities, and benefits of our Google Cloud solutions. Tailor value propositions to meet the unique requirements of each customer.
? Pre-sales Support: Work closely with the sales team throughout the sales cycle, from lead qualification to deal closure. Offer technical expertise, address inquiries, and resolve concerns raised by prospects to drive successful sales outcomes.
? Post-sales Support: Assist customers with implementation, integration, and troubleshooting of our Google Cloud products and services post-sale. Ensure a seamless transition from sales to implementation and support ongoing customer success.
? Industry Knowledge: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies relevant to Google Cloud. Utilize industry insights to position our company as a trusted advisor and thought leader in the market.
Qualifications
? Bachelor?s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
? Minimum 5 years' experience as sales engineer for google products.
? Certifications in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or relevant technical skills highly desired.
? Proven experience in a technical sales or pre-sales engineering role, preferably in cloud computing.
? Strong understanding of Google Cloud Platform and related technologies.
? Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
? Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong customer relationships.
