- Hello talented Upwork freelancers!I am in need of a Google Workspace guru...PRIMARY OBJECTIVES:
- Change Google Workspace primary domain.
- Resolve email deliverability issues (may be resolved by the domain migration) CURRENT SETUP:My Google Workspace primary domain is an old one that I don't use anymore, except for this. Let's call it olddomain.comA few years ago, when I launched this business, I added the new domain as a secondary domain on the Google Workspace account.We've been using this for all email since then.Let's call it seconddomain.comWe've now pivoted our business a bit, so have changed the domain we're using for the website and email. I added that as a new, additional secondary domain to the existing olddomain.com Google Workspace account.Let's call it newdomain.comGOAL:Make the Google Workspace Primary Domain = newdomain.comolddomain.com - is not used except for some old logins, so I still need access to email. But it can become a secondary domain.seconddomain.com - was used until recently, so we will need to maintain access to receiving emails indefinitely. Again, can be a secondary domain. I don't plan on using it to send emails much, if at all.EMAIL DELIVERABILITY:I've heard in the past week of a couple of people who've had my emails (sent from @newdomain.com) go to their spam folders. These are people who I had regularly communicated with before via @seconddomain.comThis is concerning of course. Not even dealing with marketing emails, just general work emails to existing contacts.I'm wondering if they're getting flagged as spoofed emails due to the primary/secondary domain setup.GOOGLE WORKSPACE DETAILS:(6) active users(2) of those users are general mailboxes - office@ and service@. So they should have no Drive data to migrate.A few of the users have multiple aliases that we need to maintain.I.e. former employee emails, other general emails (info@ etc)Apps:
- Drive, Calendar, Gmail, Voice, Meet, Keep* ? I think I'm the only one that uses Keep, but there's a lot of data there I can't lose.EMAIL CLIENT:Not sure if it matters, but we use Front as our email client.DELIVERABLES:
- I would like you to manage the Workspace migration and ensure we don't lose any emails, Drive contents, calendar entries, or Keep notes.
- Resolve email deliverability issues. Although we're not doing any email marketing now, it is on the agenda for 2024, so let's proactively resolve any issues that might crop up
