Human Resources Coordinator (Fully Remote)

The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for day-to-day human resources operations including onboarding and offboarding, policy administration, procedures and programs, employee relations, and benefits administration. A basic understanding of the company's organizational structure as well as an extensive knowledge of personnel policy and procedures and federal and state... laws regarding employment practices are essential.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
? Manage time keeping setup and troubleshooting
? Process new hires (entry into HRIS and timekeeping system, background checks/drug screening)
? Coordination of benefits (medical insurance enrollment, terminations and changes, 401k)
? Respond to unemployment claim inquiries and attend phone interviews as required
? Complete employment verification requests (verbal and written)
? Assist employees with payroll matters (tax filing changes, direct deposit, etc.)
? Research, complete and process employee vacation requests and salary increase requests
? Responsible for HR hotline to answer lower level employee relation situations
? Assist management with enforcement of policies and procedures
? Manage employee data and records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
? Collaborate with payroll department to ensure accurate processing of employee information.
? Collect data and generate reports on HR metrics such as turnover rates, recruitment effectiveness, and employee satisfaction.
? Stay up-to-date on HR laws and regulations to ensure compliance with employment laws.
Skills and Abilities Required
? Knowledge of personnel policies, employment practices, state and federal employment laws
? Proficiency with Google suite.
? Strong written and verbal communication skills
? Attention to detail
? HR Certification preferred
? 3 years related experience
? Preferred experience with Rippling HRIS software
Qualifications
? Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver?s license meeting company MVR criteria.
? Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
? Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills
? Must be capable of driving both auto and manual transmissions.
? Ability to work in an environment that is not necessarily protected from weather and temperature changes with exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid or windy weather conditions for long periods of time.
? Must be able to lift, push, pull objects up to 50 pounds with reasonable accommodation, and exhibit full range of motion including standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, twisting, lifting, and crouching.
? Ability to stand continuously and perform job functions for a full shift.
? Education minimum: high school diploma or equivalent
? Read, write and communicate using English language sufficient to perform job functions.
