Who we?re looking for Toyota?s Customs & Trade Compliance Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Trade Compliance & Audit Analyst. The primary responsibility plays a critical role for the Company in the establishment, implementation and sustainment of trade compliance programs that span... Toyota Motor North America (TMNA) business operations. Reporting to the Manager of Regulatory Trade Compliance & Audit, the person in this role will support the Customs & Trade Compliance department's objective with post entry activities, supporting government audits and Toyota?s participation in Customs and Border Protection programs. What you?ll be doing Serves as the lead team member for audit programs involving: HTS and ECCN Classification Trade related transactions (Import, Export, FTZ) Classification and Country of Origin ?Quality Check? Free Trade Agreements U.S. Import Procedures and Transactions U.S. Export Procedures and Transactions Supply chain security procedures & countermeasures Foreign Trade Zone Procedures and Transactions Leads post-entry activities involving entries filed for Toyota affiliates Leads response efforts for trade related government audits (e.g. CBP Focused Assessments, Drawback Reviews) Supports TMNA?s administration, self-assessments, corrective actions, and revalidations for the Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism ?C-TPAT? Helps coordinate TMNA?s Regulatory Recordkeeping Program in accordance with Federal Regulations Reviews recommendations from Team Members on key findings from audit activities Reviews Team Members responses to requests from government agencies (i.e., CBP, Commerce, BIS, DOD, Dept. of State) prior to submission Conducts training on Trade Compliance related matters for stakeholders within Toyota as well as with 3rd party business partners Coordinate activities performed by third party vendors that support the Trade Compliance and Monitoring area. Prepares Trade Compliance reporting for department management including, but not limited to: Audit findings ?Trusted Trader? annual report for TMS Responses to trade related surveys Trade policy information requests from TMNA Government Affairs office Continuing Education Management Reports (Internal SME) What you bring Bachelor?s degree or equivalent trade programs related work experience Extensive knowledge of customs regulations, transaction audits and supply chain security Progressive experience in Customs and Trade Compliance related functions Strong problem solving, quality, process development Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint) Added bonus if you have Graduate degree is plus Customs broker license Professional trade compliance certifications (e.g. CCS, CUSECO) Expert automotive classification skills and experience training staff What we?ll bring During your interview process, our team can fill you in on all the details of our industry-leading benefits and career development opportunities.
