Azure for Operators is building a team to help mobile operators take advantage of the innovation unleashed by the introduction of technologies such as 5G, Software Defined Networking / Network Function Virtualization, Edge Compute and the next generation Internet of Things. As our business continues to grow in the telecommunications sector with new customers being acquired regularly, the value of our existing customers becomes even more important as the foundation of our growth, and ensuring they have a seamless renewal journey is a key focus. The Azure for Operators Sales and Delivery Team is looking for a Support Renewals Specialist. As our business continues to grow in the Telecommunications sector with new customers being acquired regularly, the value of our existing customers becomes even more important as the foundation of our growth, and ensuring they have a seamless renewal journey is a key focus. With your experience working as part of a sales operations function, you will have the opportunity to engage with some of the largest Telco providers in the industry, as you build up your network and hone your negotiation skills. You will also develop a better understanding of how the renewal process operates in a global technology company, and your feedback and input will contribute to improving it over time. This is an excellent chance for you to own the end-to-end renewals process and your attention to detail will be invaluable as you create detailed quotes and help to ensure the successful closure of renewals. Responsibilities: You will be interacting with external customers as well as a number of our internal teams as part of renewal life-cycle management, and some of your key responsibilities will include: ? Understanding our renewal pricing methodology and producing accurate customer-facing quotes. ? Processing quote changes, merges or expansions per company policies and procedures. ? Ensuring that our renewal database is kept current with accurate information. ? Working closely with our sales team and our customers worldwide to negotiate the successful closure of the renewals. ? Helping with renewal revenue forecasting and meeting planned deadlines and targets. ? Being the point of contact for renewal-related enquiries from customers, partners, distributors, and internal sales teams. ? Develop and foster key internal relationships with Sales, Finance, Procurement, Professional Services, Contracts, Product Management and Business Operations personnel Other ? Embody our culture and values Qualifications: Required/Minimum Qualifications ? 3 years technology-related sales or account management experience o OR Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, or related field AND 2 years technology-related sales or account management experience. Additional or Preferred Qualifications ? 4 years technology-related sales or account management experience o OR Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, or related field AND 3 years technology-related sales or account management work experience. ? 2 years solution or services sales experience. Solution Area Specialists IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $82,400 - $146,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $111,700 - $159,800 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
