- Job Overview:The Production Manager at The Father's House OC is the key technical expert responsible for all operational aspects of the technical equipment at TFHOC Broadcast Campus. This role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and ensuring optimal functioning of all technical systems across the campus to support church events...Responsibilities:? Technical Oversight and Maintenance:
- Oversee the operational integrity of audio, video, and lighting systems throughout the campus.
- Implement regular maintenance schedules to ensure all technical equipment functions reliably.
- Develop and maintain system documentation and inventory for all technical equipment.
- Quickly troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during events or in daily operations.
- Provide technical training and guidance to staff and volunteers as needed.
- Stay current with the latest in technology and make recommendations for upgrades to enhance event production. ? Event Technical Coordination:
- Ensure all technical aspects are executed with excellence during services and special events.
- Work closely with the Production Director to plan and execute production strategies.
- Coordinate technical requirements for various church events, including Sunday Services, Easter, Christmas/Christmas Eve, Mother?s Day, Pursuit Nights, conferences, and any related rehearsals.
- Oversee live streaming and broadcast quality control, ensuring a high-quality presentation for remote attendees. ? Volunteer and Team Management:
- Lead, train, and develop volunteer teams for the broadcast campus.
- Host biannual volunteer training sessions (Master Classes) to ensure volunteers are equipped and growing in technical systems.
- Train and equip production staff on facility infrastructure.
- Provide ongoing support and training systems to empower volunteers. ? Collaboration and Innovation:
- Work with the creative arts team to design and implement stage setups, visual presentations, and other creative elements that enhance the worship experience.
- Participate in service planning meetings, review production plans, and ensure all technical elements are in place and functioning correctly.
- Assist in the creation of set designs and provide volunteers and technical support for various events.
- Attend all staff events, staff hours, church events, and meetings at Broadcast Campus. Qualifications:
- Strong technical background with extensive experience in managing complex audiovisual systems.
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve issues with audio, video, and lighting equipment.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and special events.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and strong attention to detail.
- Understanding of QSYS System and advanced understanding of networking.
- Proven experience in technical direction or a similar role, preferably in a church or live event setting
