What You Will Do
? Develop tools/solutions for repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and productivity
? Integrate new solutions with existing tools and pipelines
? Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code in C#/C++
? Debugging C# and C++ code in the context of Unreal Engine Automation solutions to find the root cause and fix the issues
? Develop, maintain, and improve the automation solutions/tools/frameworks
? Integrate tools/Automation solutions to CI Systems and be able to debug them
? Contribute to the overall technical vision of the team
? Instrument product code to improve its testability.
? Mentor TAE, Sr TAE at Lionbridge Games.
? Remain current on software testing best practices and industry trends.
? Monitor software to detect and root cause code errors.
? Work in partnership with Client?s internal QA and Dev teams.
To Be Successful You Will Have
? 3+ years of Tools and Automation development experience in desktop/console gaming environments or in a similar role
? Experience with Unreal Engine game development (3+ years) and CI/Build systems
? Expert code debugging skills in C++ and C#
? Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases
? Strong sense of ownership and responsibility
? Ability to move forward on your own in a fast-moving environment
? Excellent communication and collaboration skills
? Adept with version control concepts. Ideally experienced using Perforce
? Basic understanding of at least 1 Command Line Interface (Cmd, Powershell, etc)
? Fluent English.
? Experience in algorithms and data structures. Competence within Unit Testing.
? Experience with bug tracking tools.
? Attention to detail.
? Highly developed technical communication
? Experience with QA processes, test scope requirements and testing method.
Not Required But Would Be An Asset.
? Master?s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
? Professional coding experience in other programming language.
? Major consoles devkits experience.
? Experience in game development lifecycle.
