What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
• Provide accurate, polite, and responsive customer service support via phone, email, and web
• Develop familiarity with transportation services in Connecticut
• Monitor multiple communication channels and issue time-sensitive service alerts
• Create customized commute plans based on individual travel needs
• Communicate with transportation providers to gather and update route/schedule services
What is Required (Qualifications):
• High School Diploma plus two years of experience or equivalent
• Previous customer service experience
• Experience using Microsoft Office or Gsuite products
• Strong attention to detail
• Good time management and multitasking skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
• Good communication skills
• Experience in the transportation industry
• Ability to use CMS and other computer programs effectively
• Knowledge of CTrides and CTrail program policies and procedures
