In this role, you will: Participate in providing clients with sound financial advice consistent with the clients goals and risk tolerance and identify opportunity for process improvements within scope of responsibilities Meet with clients to collect financial information, assess investment profile and evaluate clients financial needs advise clients regarding advantages and disadvantages of different financial products and determine which financial products are suitable for client needs and financial circumstances Review and analyze less complex business, operational, or technical assignments or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives, and exercise independent judgment to guide medium risk deliverables Identify and refer client to other financial services and specialists as may be appropriate Provide client support, including to clients referred by other Wells Fargo channels Present recommendations for... resolving more complex situations and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in the functions, policies, procedures and compliance requirements Collaborate and consult with functional colleagues, internal partners and stakeholders Partner and mentor with Licensed Bankers or Regional Bank Private Bankers and refer cross-marketing opportunities to other channels Required Qualifications: 2+ years of Financial Advisory - Bank experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education US only: Successfully completed Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65) examinations (or FINRA recognized equivalents) sufficient to qualify for immediate FINRA registration Required Qualifications for Europe, Middle East & Africa only: Experience in Financial Advisory - Bank, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: Job Expectations: US only: Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate FINRA license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position. Compliance with state law registration and licensing requirements is mandatory. In addition to state registration and licensing requirements, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply. Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards. Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA licensing review process at the time of offer acceptance.
