Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Remote Special Education Teacher to provide individualized educational services to students across Minnesota. This fully remote position is ideal for an educator who is passionate about creating customized learning experiences and is committed to fostering the academic and social development of students with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities
? IEP Development: Design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that address the unique needs of each student.
? Instructional Delivery: Provide engaging and effective instruction in a virtual environment, using a variety of teaching methods to support students with special needs.
? Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess student progress, adapt teaching strategies, and provide feedback to ensure students are meeting their educational goals.
? Collaboration: Work closely with general education teachers, parents, and related service providers to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
? Family Communication: Maintain open communication with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on student progress and strategies to support learning at home.

Qualifications
? Education: Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Special Education or a related field.
? Certification: Valid Minnesota teaching license with a Special Education endorsement.
? Experience: Minimum of three years of experience in special education, with a preference for candidates experienced in remote instruction.
? Skills: Proficient in using educational technology, effective communication, and strong organizational skills.
? Personal Attributes: Patient, adaptable, and committed to fostering an inclusive educational environment.

Work Environment
? Remote Position: Requires a professional home office setup, including reliable internet access and appropriate technology for virtual instruction.
