- What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide quotes and sell insurance policies across multiple lines and carriers
- Offer outstanding client service and build positive relationships with prospective clients
- Track, gather information, and answer customer inquiries using various systems
- Identify customer needs and meet those needs using sales tools and techniques
- Develop expertise in property and casualty insurance across all product lines
- What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to obtain a Property & Casualty license within 3 testing attempts
- Proven success in maintaining adequate typing speed while conversing with customers
- Strong professional phone etiquette
- Ability to be qualified by DOI to be appointed as a licensed sales agent by multiple insurance carriers
- How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Property & Casualty License preferred but not required in certain states
- Working knowledge of auto policies, underwriting, and billing guidelines
- Proficiency with sales systems
- Self-motivated with a high level of initiative and autonomy
- Experience in a sales environment
