Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologist Assistants for full-time positions within school districts in the Santa Clara, CA area. We are looking for dedicated professionals who are passionate about helping students improve their communication skills and achieve academic success.
Qualifications: ? Associate?s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or a bachelor?s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders. ? Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license. ? Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to speech and language therapy services in schools. ? Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with students, parents, and school staff. ? Ability to pass a background check and meet all local and state requirements.
Responsibilities: ? Assist Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in the implementation of individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders. ? Provide direct therapy services under the supervision of an SLP, including articulation, language, fluency, and social communication interventions. ? Collect data and document student progress towards therapy goals, reporting findings to the supervising SLP. ? Prepare therapy materials and activities to support student engagement and progress. ? Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication needs in the classroom setting. ? Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all school district policies and state regulations. ? Participate in team meetings and professional development as required.
