Responsibilities
? Provide specialized instruction to students with visual impairments in a remote setting.
? Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to meet the individual needs of each student.
? Adapt and modify learning materials to ensure accessibility.
? Monitor and assess student progress, making adjustments to instruction as necessary.
Qualifications
? Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field.
? Valid Virginia teaching license with an endorsement in Teaching the Visually Impaired.
? Minimum of two years of experience working in a school setting.
? Strong communication and organizational skills.
Position Details
? PreK-12 student caseload.
? Part-time, 16 hours per week.
? Competitive compensation for both direct instruction and indirect hours.
? 1099 contract position offering flexibility.
