Job Description
Amazon is looking for a dedicated and motivated Customer Service Associate to join our team in Des Moines, Iowa. As a Customer Service Associate, you will be the first point of contact for our valued customers, providing exceptional service and support. Key Responsibilities
– Handle inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
– Resolve product or service problems by clarifying customer issues, determining the cause, selecting, and explaining the best solution, and following up to ensure resolution.
– Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
– Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits, and follow up to ensure resolution.
– Keep accurate records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken.
– Communicate and coordinate with colleagues as necessary.
Requirements
– High school diploma or equivalent.
– Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
– Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset.
– Comfortable using computers and customer-facing software.
– Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Education and Experience
– High school diploma or equivalent (required).
– Previous customer service experience (preferred but not required).
