Posted 2025-03-14We are working with a large employer in the Chattanooga area to place 3 Data Entry Clerks into a 1 year contract opportunity. In this role, you will be handling customer inquiries, processing applications, and maintaining accurate customer records. Please note, this is a remote opportunity but candidate are required to live within 45 minutes of downtown Chattanooga.
Responsibilities...
? Efficiently process customer applications and ensure accuracy.
? Handle customer inquiries professionally and provide relevant information.
? Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer credit records.
? Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action based on account status.
? Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain expected performance levels.
? Utilize strong decision-making and problem-solving skills to resolve customer issues.
? Operate basic Microsoft Office and Email systems effectively.
? Demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
? Display strong interpersonal skills and maintain a positive teamwork ethic.
? Exhibit attention to detail in all tasks and responsibilities.
? Adapt to a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business.
? Minimum of 1 year experience in a data entry role or similar position
? Proficiency in Microsoft Word and other Microsoft Office applications
? Proven ability to perform scanning and typing tasks with accuracy
? Experience in email correspondence, with good written communication skills
? Demonstrated experience in data entry, with a high level of attention to detail
? Ability to work independently and as part of a team
? Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
? Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
? A high school diploma or equivalent qualification
? Knowledge of the insurance industry would be advantageous
