General Purpose

The Director of Risk Management is responsible for evaluating, implementing, and monitoring comprehensive risk management and insurance programs to safeguard Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages' assets and earnings. Primary duties include identifying and assessing operational risks, crafting effective risk management solutions, partnering with external risk and insurance resources, and acting as an in-house resource to educate, advise, and counsel company management and business partners to mitigate and transfer risk effectively.

Duties and Responsibilities
? Develop Identify, evaluate, analyze, and treat risks inherent to the operations of the company to reduce the company's total cost of risk.
? Direct services provided by insurance brokers and key risk vendor relationships to maintain a best-in-class comprehensive risk and insurance program.
? Cultivate and maintain executive-level sponsorship with key insurance partners.
? Advise and update executive leadership on key risk management issues.
? Collaborate with business partners throughout the organization to understand risk management needs and strategic initiatives.
? Educate and advise executive leadership on adequacy and levels of coverage for various forms of insurance.
? Collaborate with business partners and insurance brokers for appropriate contract language and insurance policy wording to protect the company.
? Collaborate with risk, insurance, and claim vendor partners on claims management to reduce company's total cost of risk.
? Collaborate with internal business partners for proactive risk management and safety initiatives to reduce the company's exposure to loss.
? Collaborate with actuaries on loss forecasting and insurance deductible analyses.
? Remain informed of the changes that occur within the company to recommend and execute changes to risk and insurance programs as appropriate.
? Proactively manage claims to successful resolutions through partnerships with claims adjusters, insurers, in-house and defense counsel, and mediators.
? Actively manage broker and insurer relationships for successful negotiations on insurance renewals, pricing, and coverage.
? Manage Risk team activities including but not limited to claims, certificates of insurance, analytics, insurance renewal submissions, premium payments.

Qualifications
? Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, or Business.
? Master's degree preferred.
? 15+ years of progressive experience in property and casualty risk management and insurance, with a proven track record of success in leading complex risk management initiatives.
? Professional designations such as ARM or CPCU strongly preferred.
? Good leadership and communication skills to involve cross functional teams.
? Effective reasoning and decision-making skills
? Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
? Strong analytical aptitude and strategic mindset with the ability to drive data-informed decision-making.
