An opportunity has arisen within the Council?s Housing & Property Services, Home Ownership Team, for an enthusiastic individual with relevant work experience to join the team that delivers Home Ownership and Property Management services related to the Right to Buy your Home and Leasehold and HRA Service Charges.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

To process applications related to the Right to Buy your Council Property and any other associated schemes while ensuring legislative time limits are met in accordance with Part V of the Housing Act 1985.
To handle all aspects of leasehold management, such as LPE1 enquiries, completion statements, subletting requests, and service charge... calculations.
To assist with the production and raising of Annual Service Charges.
To ensure correct recharge allocation to properties for Major Works programmes while complying with Section 20 legislation under the Leasehold Reform Act 2002.
To carry out all administrative tasks surrounding these subjects.

To ensure the Council meets its statutory obligations in all areas and maintains the highest standards of probity and good conduct at all times.

To take collective responsibility for providing excellent services to our residents.

To ensure our customer service and delivery is exceptional and continually improves.
