As a Member Frontline Cashier Associate, you are the heart of our front end, significantly influencing how members feel about their experience at Sam's Club. You may be the first, last, or only associate a member interacts with, making your role crucial in creating a positive atmosphere. You?ll need to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak times like evenings, weekends, and holidays. Your responsibilities include scanning items, processing payments, and maintaining a clean checkout area. Although challenging, the role is rewarding and integral to our mission of ensuring member satisfaction.
What You'll Do:
? Maintain Safety: Ensure facility safety by conducting safety sweeps, following procedures for hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations to management.
? Provide Member Service: Acknowledge members, assist with purchasing decisions, locate merchandise, resolve issues, and promote company products. Support members with self-service technology, process purchases, handle payments, and manage transactions at registers or self-checkout areas.
? Comply with Policies: Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards, implementing action plans and using the Open Door Policy.
? Complete Work Assignments: Utilize policies, data, and resources to prioritize tasks, collaborate with team members, communicate progress, and adapt to changes.

Compensation:
