Sam's Club is hiring for Checkout Operations Specialist The Checkout Operations Specialist plays a pivotal role in creating a welcoming environment at Sam's Club. Besides the basic duties of scanning products and processing payments, the Associate can offer valuable insights into Sam's Club's products and services and assist members with locating items. It is the Associate's responsibility to handle members' concerns and questions in a friendly and helpful manner, contributing positively to their overall experience at the store. What You'll Do: ? Maintain Safety: Preserve the safety of the premises by undertaking safety rounds, complying with hazardous material protocols, and notifying management of any unsafe occurrences. ? Provide Member Service: Greet clients, provide assistance on buying decisions, find merchandise, resolve issues, and promote your enterprise's wares. Give assistance to customers using automated technology, complete transactions, process payments, and supervise negotiations at registers or self-checkout stations. ? Comply with Policies: Follow established company procedures, ethical standards, and regulations, executing action plans and utilizing the Open Door Policy. ? Complete Work Assignments: Utilize organizational policies, relevant data, and available resources to determine priorities, cooperate with colleagues, report progress, and respond to changes.
