Science Teacher Job Description

We are looking for instructors who can create and deliver science lesson plans for grades K-6. Instructors must be able to create their own lesson plans and be comfortable teaching through Zoom. Training will be provided on how to use the Ustar website community and Zoom. Classes typically meet once a week for one hour, and instructors may choose how many classes they are willing to take on.

Role and Responsibilities
? Create exciting, interactive classes on specific subject areas. provide a high-quality class experience for learners and families.
? Deliver lessons with hands-on activities, focusing on personalized experience and feedback.
? Responsible for all lesson plans, assignments, assessments, and other instructional materials and methods of teaching in your classroom
? Involve parents as part of school learning community and keep constant communication with families
? Confidently use our website to start video meetings with parents and communicate with families about learner progress.
? Create challenging and engaging learning opportunities for all students.

Requirements
? Prior virtual tutoring or teaching experience required
? Must have access to laptop or iPad for virtual sessions
? Previous experience with science instruction
? Excellent classroom management skills promoting positive attitude
? Must be able to pass a background check

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $25.00 to $40.00 /hour

Experience:
? K-12 Science Instruction Experience Required
? Virtual Teaching: 1 year (Required)

Education:
? Bachelor's (Preferred)
