Job Description

Renaissance Learning, Inc. is seeking Customer Education Consultants with a background in MTSS, education and strong facilitation skills to deliver high-impact, engaging professional learning for Renaissance users. Working closely with Professional Learning Managers and the Director of Professional Learning, Renaissance Consultants help educators apply learning to practices for lasting growth. Renaissance Consultants are key members of our Customer Education team and are responsible for facilitating top quality training experiences, building positive relationships, supporting educators in MTSS practices, assessment and data practices, and contributing to the continuous development of Renaissance professional learning programs.

Renaissance Consultants are scheduled on an as-needed basis and paid an hourly rate with reimbursements for travel and related expenses. All Consultants must be available for onboarding during the month of April and training in May. Consultants must have the availability to facilitate professional learning sessions for up to 40 hours per week and availability to travel up to 75% during peak season (July ? October). During non-peak season (November - June) consultants need to be available to facilitate professional learning for up to 20 hours per week.

In this role, you will:
? Customize and deliver on-site and/or virtual product training and professional learning that meets client needs and goes above and beyond expectations.
? Differentiate training on the spot when needed to ensure high engagement and meeting learning goals.
? Prepare for training engagements by engaging with Renaissance team members, customizing training materials (within specific parameters), learning about the particular needs and goals of the client, etc.
? Engage in an internal cycle of reflection, feedback, and development (including observations, client evaluations, and coaching).
? Learn multiple solutions during the tenure of employment with Renaissance to meet our clients' needs.
? Learn and follow Renaissance processes for preparing, delivering, and post work facilitation.

NOTE: We are ideally looking for candidates who do not want to supplement this role with a full-time role or another part-time position. This role works best for retired educators or for people who are not currently, or planning to, work full-time.

Qualifications
? Prior experience in K-12 education.
? At least 5 years of professional experience facilitating/delivering professional development across various in-person and virtual modalities, and deep understanding of engaging adult learning principles.
? At least 3 years of professional experience with MTSS; deep knowledge of MTSS, formative assessments, analytics, and data visualization tools.
? Experience with educational technology, presentation tools and online meeting programs, familiarity with the eduClimber solution, and ability to learn to use new tools and technologies quickly.
? Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and facilitation skills with a high level of organization and attention to detail.
? High level of collaboration with internal and cross functional teams, growth mindset and dedication to continuous improvement, particularly, to train on multiple platforms (minimum 2).
? Ability to work independently on tasks, projects, and learning sessions, balancing and prioritizing appropriately.
? Ability to travel and to arrange lodging and transportation.
