Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team. This position involves working with PreK-5th grade students in a resource room setting, providing targeted support through pullout sessions. The role includes a full-day schedule with designated preparation times and a modified half-day schedule every Wednesday for planning and collaboration.

Responsibilities: ? Deliver individualized instruction to students with diverse learning needs in a resource room setting. ? Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's goals and objectives. ? Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success. ? Monitor and document student progress, making adjustments to instructional strategies as needed. ? Participate in weekly planning and preparation sessions every Wednesday.

Requirements: ? Valid Texas Special Education Certification or eligibility to obtain certification. ? Experience working with PreK-5th grade students in a special education setting is preferred. ? Strong communication and organizational skills. ? A passion for supporting students with special needs and fostering their academic and social growth.

Schedule:
? Full-day schedule with prep times included.
? Half-day schedule every Wednesday for teaching planning and preparation.
