Senior Mortgage Loan Processor

This candidate will be responsible for the entire end-to-end mortgage loan process. They will gather and process all loan documentation and ensure compliance with policy, regulatory, and loan terms. In this crucial role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of mortgage loans, from application to closing.

Responsibilities
? Manage assigned loan pipeline independently, ensuring adherence to timelines and deadlines.
? Accurately and efficiently collect, verify, and analyze borrower documentation.
? Prepare and submit loan packages for underwriting review, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
? Communicate effectively with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, and other stakeholders throughout the process.
? Resolve discrepancies and overcome processing challenges proactively.
? Maintain detailed loan files and documentation according to company standards.
? Stay abreast of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
? Proactively review loan files for accuracy and completeness before submission.
? Identify and address potential issues early on to minimize delays.
? Ensure all documentation meets lender guidelines and underwriting requirements.
? Contribute to continuous improvement of processing procedures and quality control measures.

Qualifications
? Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a mortgage loan processor.
? Demonstrated proficiency in all phases of the mortgage loan processing cycle.
? Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
? Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
? Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
? Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
? Proficient in mortgage industry software and loan processing platforms.
? Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
? Commitment to ethical and professional conduct.
? Previous experience with mortgage loan processing preferred
? Knowledge of FHA, VA, Conventional, and USDA loans
