About the position

The Data and Reporting Professional at Humana plays a crucial role in generating both ad hoc reports and regular datasets for end-users. This position requires the integration of data from multiple sources to produce the necessary data elements as requested. The professional will be responsible for programming and maintaining report forms, information dashboards, data generators, and other end-user information portals. This role also involves creating specifications for reports based on business requests, ensuring that the reports align with the department's and organization's strategic objectives. The Data and Reporting Professional must be able to make independent decisions regarding their work methods, especially in ambiguous situations, and will follow established guidelines and procedures while seeking guidance when necessary. In this role, the individual will utilize various system tools and database queries to extract and analyze data, ensuring that the information provided is accurate and relevant. The position requires a strong understanding of the organization's strategy and operating objectives, as well as the ability to interpret complex data sets. The Data and Reporting Professional will also be expected to manage their time effectively, prioritize tasks, and work on multiple projects simultaneously, all while maintaining a focus on improving consumer experiences. This position is integral to supporting the organization's data-driven decision-making processes and enhancing overall operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
? Generate ad hoc reports and regular datasets for end-users using system tools and database queries.

? Integrate data from multiple sources to produce required data elements.

Requirements
? Bachelor's Degree or 2+ years of data analysis and reporting experience.

? Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.

? In-depth experience in Microsoft Excel including formulas, pivots, charts, and graphs.
,
? Prior experience with Quest Analytics, particularly in creating network adequacy reports.
,
? Experience creating automated reports and self-service tools.
,
? Advanced time management and prioritization skills to meet deadlines.
,
? Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask across multiple states.

Nice-to-haves
? Advanced Degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or Computer Science.

? 1+ years of experience in SQL, SAS, QlikView, and Tableau.

? Experience with Medicaid/Medicare network development.
,
? Prior experience in a system analytics and/or data warehousing environment.
,
? Experience reviewing documents like Medicaid RFPs and state contracts for data extraction.

? Experience in QuickBase for provider data loading and report generation.
