About the position

The Senior Associate, Corporate Finance at SoFi will play a pivotal role in supporting the company's financial reporting and planning across all segments and products. This position requires close collaboration with senior executives, including the CEO and CFO, as well as various business partners to drive the close and forecast processes, as well as the annual and long-range planning cycles. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing timely financial and operational reporting and metrics that will influence critical capital allocation decisions across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and presentation skills, demonstrating the ability to work effectively with various operational partners. Proficiency in Excel is essential, along with strong analytical skills and attention to detail. The role involves supporting the consolidation of company-wide results, analysis, forecasts, and budgets, as well as the creation and aggregation of materials for executive and board presentations. Additionally, the Senior Associate will work across functions and finance stakeholders to drive analysis and reporting for business unit and functional unit strategies and results. Establishing trusted relationships with cross-functional leaders to articulate and oversee the "single source of truth" of key financial and performance metrics is crucial. The candidate will also support financial quarterly and annual forecasts and assist in the design of new processes to improve the quality and productivity of the finance team and the business in general.

Responsibilities
? Support the consolidation of company-wide results, analysis, forecasts, and budgets.

? Support the creation and aggregation of materials for Executive and Board presentations.

? Work across functions and finance stakeholders to drive analysis and reporting for business unit and functional unit strategy and results.

Requirements
? 3-5 years of financial services experience, ideally in Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, or Consulting.

? A deep understanding of financial reporting and P&L management.
,
? Experience preparing and presenting information to key decision-makers.
,
? Strong communication (verbal and written), presentation, and relationship-building skills.
,
? Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Google Docs/Sheets/Slides.

? Collaborative working style and demonstrated ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.

? Inquisitive nature, attention to detail, diligence and a good attitude.
,
? Willingness to embrace unstructured environments and problems.

? Time and project management skills.

? Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
