What is my Impact?

The Health Educator role is dedicated to the client's Health Plan specifically focusing on wellness. This position is responsible for population health programs, primarily based on risk factors such as weight, nutrition, exercise, and stress. This position provides program context and facilitates health education content via live presentations, via webinar and in podcasts on demand.

What are my Key Responsibilities?
? Develop and master delivery of interactive health education and lifestyle improvement programs using new sophisticated technology platforms, including live online webinar events and on demand recordings.
? Provide onsite health education presentations and wellness intervention recommendations on a wide variety of health and wellness topics such as weight, stress, nutrition, physical activity, and healthy lifestyle habits for client.
? Develop evidence-based health education and behavior change materials including power point presentations, newsletter articles, handouts and multi-week lifestyle improvement programs for client based on aggregate data from PHA (Personal Health Assessment) data, claims, predictive modeling, and regional demographics for client.
? Participate in client's health/wellness committee and other relevant committees.
? Facilitate onsite lifestyle improvement programs targeting weight management, physical activity, nutrition, and stress management behavior change.
? Develop health education content for the client's members, including contributing to blogs, newsletter articles, intranet postings, social media campaigns.
? Providing education and consulting services to client related to best practices for implementing data-driven wellness interventions in collaboration with the Florida Blue wellness program.
? Develop program outcomes measuring processes to demonstrate program effectiveness and continuous program improvement.

What is Required?
? Required Work Experience: 4+ years related work experience in health promotion industry, preferably in health education.
? Required Education: Related Bachelor's degree or additional related equivalent work experience.
? Required Licenses and Certifications: At least one certification from a national health-related organization such as Wellcoaches?, Intrinsic Coaching, CHES, ACSM or another similar organization.
? This is a Hybrid position: Some travel to group events and/or health fairs with occasional overnight stays.
? Excellent written communication skills.
? Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills.
? Proven basic knowledge of core wellness topics such as physical activity, nutrition, weight, and stress.
? Proven experience using Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel.

What is Preferred?
? Experience in the health care industry
? Certification in worksite wellness

General Physical Demands:

Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects. Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.

To support your financial wellbeing, we offer competitive pay as well as opportunities for incentive or commission compensation. We also conduct regular annual reviews with pay for performance considerations for base pay increases.

Annualized Salary Range: $62,500 - $101,500

Typical Annualized Hiring Range: $62,500 - $78,100

Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
