The Auto Claims Specialist at Zurich is responsible for managing non-litigated claims related to auto physical damage, bodily injury, and third-party property damage within multi-party commercial claims. This role involves collaborating with a diverse group of claims professionals to enhance technical expertise in auto policy interpretation and coverage analysis, while ensuring efficient and effective claims resolution with a focus on customer service.
Responsibilities
? Manage non-litigated claims related to auto physical damage, bodily injury, and third-party property damage.

? Collaborate with internal and external contacts including customers, vendors, suppliers, and brokers.

? Ensure claims are resolved efficiently and effectively within defined authority limits and established protocols.

? Develop knowledge of established protocols and industry best practices for claims handling.

? Provide exceptional customer-focused service throughout the claims process.
Requirements
? Bachelor's Degree and 2 or more years of experience in Claims Handling or Insurance, or equivalent experience through Zurich Claims Training Program or Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice.

? Must obtain and maintain required adjuster license(s).

? Experience with Microsoft Office and knowledge of insurance regulations, markets, and products.
Nice-to-haves
? Experience working in Commercial Auto Claims.

? Experience working with Bodily Injury Claims.

? Currently hold an active adjusters license.

? Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships across work groups.

? Understanding of claims adjustment process and ability to determine scope/exposure for losses.

? Familiarity with negotiation strategies and experience in suggesting alternative approaches.
