JOB TITLE: Bookkeeper (with Financial Controller Responsibilities)

RATE: PHP 330 per hour (slightly negotiable)

Work Type:
? Part-time, Remote/WFH
? Possible transition to a full-time role as work demands increase (applicant must be open to the possibility of transitioning).

Working Hours: TBD (usually US hrs | Night shift)
Start Date: ASAP

JOB ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reconciliation Tasks
? Payroll Accuracy:
? Review and match payroll transactions for all employees with payroll reports to ensure accuracy.
? Financial Cleanup:
? Address and correct issues within the customer deposits register.
? Review and correct journal entries placed in incorrect accounts.
? Service Titan Integration:
? Ensure Service Titan exports are accurate, properly categorized, and aligned with QuickBooks data.
? Learn and complete training on Service Titan?s accounting academy (initial training period to get them up to speed) before starting cleanup tasks.
? Financial Reporting and Analysis:
? Prepare financial reports, projections, and analyses as required.
? General Bookkeeping Tasks:
? Accurately record daily financial transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
? Conduct monthly reviews of the Profit and Loss Statement to ensure accuracy.
? Perform quarterly reviews of the Balance Sheet to address inconsistencies or errors.
? Compose and manage professional email communication with staff and clients.
? Provide minor administrative support as needed.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:
? At least 3 years of experience in bookkeeping and financial control, preferably with US-based clients.
? Certification in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is required.
? Familiarity with Service Titan or willingness to undergo training in its accounting academy.
? Proficient in using Google Drive for document management and collaboration.
? Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
? Excellent communication skill
? Open to the possibility of transitioning to a full-time role
? Can Start ASAP - January 2025

Preferred:
? CPA preferred
