Remote Staff Accountant | WFH Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
? Prepare financial statements by meticulously gathering and evaluating data from clients and relevant departments.
? Accurately record client inventories and transactions for every accounting period.
? Troubleshoot software-related issues and partner with clients to ensure seamless data integration into accounting systems.
? Code and import banking transactions with precision.
? Maintain clear and accurate records for petty cash, deposits, and all financial transactions.
? Facilitate effective cash flow management for clients utilizing appropriate tools.
? Reconcile and document assets, liabilities, expenses, sales, and costs of goods.
? Conduct comprehensive reviews of financial reports to implement necessary accruals and adjustments.
? Prepare, audit, and file various tax forms, along with handling other required filings.
? Perform quarterly balance sheet reconciliations and address any discrepancies with external agencies.
? Respond clearly and concisely to client inquiries regarding financial data and reports.
? Support special projects as directed by management.

? Bachelor?s degree in accounting, business, finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
? A minimum of one year of experience in a general ledger accountant role is essential.
? Experience in the restaurant industry is advantageous (FOH, BOH, Management).
? Candidates with over five years of accounting experience, even without a degree, will be considered.
? Comfort with utilizing cloud-based systems and software for daily tasks is required (training will be provided).
? Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed, resulting in potential overtime.
