About the position

As a Benefits Administrator at Vituity, you will play a crucial role in transforming healthcare by ensuring that our employees have access to the best benefits possible. This position involves processing and reviewing payroll deductions from benefits vendors and participant changes into the payroll system, as well as reconciling between vendors to ensure payroll deduction accuracy. You will monitor and troubleshoot status changes, terminations, and new hires in the Human Capital Management (HCM) system to ensure accurate downstream feeds to ADP, Bswift, and Schwab. Additionally, you will handle all inquiries from the Payroll Department and People Operations regarding benefits, providing technical assistance to resolve system problems. Your responsibilities will also include answering participant questions through the Vera ticketing system, phone calls, or emails regarding all benefit plans. You will advise employees on their benefit options and help them determine the best plan for their needs. Researching and troubleshooting client questions and problems in various systems such as Oracle, ADP, Bswift Benefit System, and outside vendor systems will be part of your daily tasks. You will assist with Open Enrollment preparation and process Schwab 401(k) contributions for outside clients, collaborating with Finance on the reconciliation of Schwab payments. Furthermore, you will manage the manual check and wires for physician contributions, troubleshoot issues with Union Bank, and handle the IDI Unum Disability Insurance billing and claims process. You will also process Hartford Life Insurance claims and assist in setting up the Portability Feed from Bswift to Hartford, serving as a backup for life insurance billing and plan processing, and prepare billing for the Commuter Benefits Program. Responsibilities
? Process and review payroll deductions from benefits vendor and participant changes into the payroll system.

Requirements
? 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources, Payroll, or Benefits required.
,
? Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Finance required.
,
? Mathematical and finance aptitude required.
,
? Detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment required.
,
? Knowledge of Oracle HCM system and ADP Payroll systems preferred.
,
? Basic knowledge of principles, standards, and accepted practices related to benefit plans.
,
? Ability to express ideas and convey information effectively in verbal and written form.
,
? Able to take detailed and complete meeting minutes.
,
? Personable and able to speak to various employees and physicians regarding benefit plans.
,
? Proficient in basic math principles.
,
? Understand and interpret regulations for State and Federal regulations for all benefit plans.
,
? Ability to maintain flexibility, cooperation and participation cross-organizationally.
,
? Intermediate to advanced MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills.
