The position is primarily home-based, allowing for a flexible work environment where you will spend approximately 80% of your time working from home, with occasional travel to office locations for team meetings, training sessions, and cultural events. You will interpret and apply policies, leases, by-laws, declarations, and contract coverages to assigned losses, ensuring that all parties are informed about the claim process and status. Additionally, you will serve as a mentor and subject matter expert for less experienced adjusters, sharing your extensive knowledge of the claims handling process. The position reports to a Manager in Adjusting Services and is designed for individuals with a strong background in handling Bodily Injury claims, particularly those represented by attorneys.
