Job Overview

We are in search of an accomplished Property Field Adjuster to become a vital member of our team. This position entails the thorough investigation and resolution of first-party personal and commercial property claims, encompassing both intricate, high-stakes scenarios and standard incidents. The successful candidate will predominantly operate in the field, executing on-site assessments throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth region, while also managing select claims through virtual channels based on their exposure.

Key Responsibilities
? Execute in-depth investigations, evaluations, and resolutions of personal and commercial property claims, both in-field and virtually.
? Collaborate with independent adjusters as needed, assessing root causes and potential subrogation or salvage opportunities.
? Conduct recorded interviews with insured individuals and witnesses, coordinating with external experts when necessary.
? Analyze policy contracts, endorsements, and applicable forms to ascertain coverage, addressing all components of claims, including ALE and business-related losses.
? Independently perform inspections, establish scopes of work, and create property estimates using industry-standard guidelines and Xactimate software.
? Utilize sound judgment to make timely, informed decisions and communicate those decisions effectively.
? Proactively identify potential issues and devise strategies to implement effective solutions.
? Ascertain and flag suspicious claims to the Special Investigative Unit (SIU), assisting in investigations as required.
? Maintain precise, comprehensive, and clear documentation, including file notes and reports.
? Set and adjust reserve amounts in accordance with claim exposures, negotiate settlements, and authorize payments within designated authority.
? Provide exemplary customer service throughout the claims process, responding swiftly to all forms of communication.
? Partner with insured parties, agents, and internal teams to ensure a seamless claims experience.
? Coordinate necessary vendor services, including contractors and emergency repairs.
? Gather pertinent information from external professionals, such as engineers and law enforcement, to accurately evaluate loss extents.
? Cultivate strong relationships with insured parties and maintain positive interactions with agents and contractors.
? Manage outsourced vendors, including independent adjusters and forensic specialists.
? Consult with legal experts on complex coverage issues and serve as an expert witness or participate in legal proceedings as required.
? Contribute to team enrichment through training and mentorship, acting as a subject matter expert both within and externally.
? Engage in catastrophe response initiatives as necessary, with the capacity to travel nationally and respond on-site within 48 hours.
? Adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines, ensuring high-quality claim handling that emphasizes accuracy and client satisfaction.
? Participate in ongoing professional development and engage in assigned special projects.

Required Skills
? Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
? A minimum of 5 years in handling commercial claims, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
? Robust understanding of personal and commercial property claim management across various jurisdictions, coupled with strong customer service skills.
? Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a knack for building relationships and conveying technical information effectively.
? Strong organizational and time-management skills suitable for a fast-paced environment.
? Capacity to prioritize tasks, manage projects, and adapt to evolving conditions.
? Strategic thinker with analytical and problem-solving capabilities, adept at navigating ambiguity.

Qualifications
? State-specific licensing may be mandatory.
? Professional certifications such as CPCU, AIC, or SCLA are advantageous.
