Resp & Qualifications

The Business Alignment Department provides automation solutions and support to various business functions like Operations, Customer / Health Services and Finance. This automation team works closely with Business Process Management (BPM) and various business areas to understand and analyze as-is & future state, document user stories, design, implement and support various business process automations.

This is a Year-Round Internship engagement. We are looking for students who can work up to 15 -20 hours per week during the Fall / Spring academic year and 40 hours per week during the summer. The target start date for this internship will be after the 1st of the year 2023 in the Spring Semester.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES :
? Act as a bridge between business alignment automation, BPM, the business teams, and different areas of IT Operations
? Ability to interact and schedule / coordinate meeting with business teams, participate in discovery sessions, document epic level process maps for both as-is and to-be processes
? Ability to interact and schedule / coordinate meeting with business teams, participate in discovery sessions, document detailed user stories on the to-be processes
? Coordinate with business and technical teams to get approvals on the epic and user stories
? Participate in, design and automate small to medium complexity processes
? Coordinate with various business and technical teams on test data and volume
? Participate in functional testing of automated processes

QUALIFICATIONS :

Education Level : This position requires an individual working towards at least a Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University.

Experience : Junior or Senior Undergraduate student targeting majors in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Project Management or a Computer Science / Information System related degree with a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or above.

Required Abilities / Skills :
? Ability to work independently and as part of a team
? Good interpersonal skills and the ability to positively interface with and establish and maintain effective working relationships with all teams engaged in automation initiatives
? Attention to detail and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills including assisting with presentations and proposals.
? Demonstrated skills with various computer applications / software, particularly those related to the business analysis and automation
? Experience in business process analysis, workflow, documenting process maps and detailed user stories, functional testing and automation skills (preferred)
? Proven ability to elicit, document, analyze and verify business needs
? Technical writing experience and training experience (preferred)
? Knowledge of different SDLC methodology or demonstrated knowledge of business processes related to the business area supporting
? Must demonstrate understanding of industry standard Business Analysis Best Practices
? Experience documenting requirements gathering experience and scripting macros or automations (preferred)
