Job Description Qualifications:
The Boeing Corporate Audit organization is looking for a Principal Internal Auditor to join our fully virtual team.
A successful candidate will have a broad financial background to focus on conducting internal financial audits and consult on special projects.
Position Responsibilities: ? Planning and organizing various audit and advisory engagements for Boeing businesses and functions using the Agile project management methodology ? Preparing business process advice and guidance in key business unit or functional risk areas ? Developing accurate and complete work papers that adequately support audit findings and work performed ? Preparing key observations, findings and recommendations, and presenting those observations to Audit Team and stakeholders ? Performing and overseeing internal control testing and documentation. ? Reviewing work papers and conducting closing meetings under limited oversight ? Assisting Audit Management by conducting risk assessments and developing audit programs and tests ? Participating in special projects, internal consulting work and improvement workshops on an as-needed basis ? Attending seminars/training courses for professional development

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
? Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting or Business-related field
? 5+ years of experience in a Finance or Accounting role
? Experience interfacing with and presenting to senior and/or executive leadership
? Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
? 3+ years of experience in internal audit and/or external audit
? In depth knowledge of Estimate at Completion (EAC) and/or accounting processes
? Experience with GAAP, audit procedures, including planning, techniques, tests and sampling methods
? Experience in external audit with the Big 4 public accounting firms
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years' related work experience, 19 years' related work experience, etc.).
