Evernorth Workplace Care is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Arlington, VA. This position is designed for a professional who is passionate about providing primary and acute care in an employer-based health center. As the sole provider, you will have the unique opportunity to focus on patient education and wellness conversations, ensuring that each individual receives personalized care. In this role, you will provide comprehensive primary care treatment, including episodic care for low acuity urgent care cases and extended episodic acute care, which may involve multiple visits for illnesses or injuries. You will also be responsible for chronic condition education and co-management with outside primary care providers when necessary. Your expertise will allow you to oversee and perform CLIA waived tests, dispense prescription medications, and manage a specimen collection lab. Collaboration with onsite employees for biometric screenings and health education will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. The position requires clinic hours from Tuesday to Friday, with no nights, weekends, or on-call duties. Responsibilities
? Provide primary care treatment in an employer-based setting.

? Deliver episodic care for low acuity urgent care cases.

? Manage extended episodic acute care, including multiple visits for illnesses or injuries.

? Educate and co-manage chronic conditions with outside primary care providers.

? Oversee and perform CLIA waived tests and dispense prescription medications.

? Manage a specimen collection lab.

? Provide direct health coaching to employees and refer patients to wellness programs.
Requirements
? Graduate of a Certified Nurse Practitioner program.
,
? Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the respective state.
,
? Minimum of 3 years of NP experience in an internal medicine or family practice setting.

? Ability to practice independently in the respective state.
,
? DEA licensure and prescriptive authority.
,
? Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
,
? BLS certification.
,
? Ability to work clinic hours: Tuesday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm.
