About the position

The Universal Associate (UA) position at Capital City Bank is designed to provide prompt, efficient, and friendly service to clients. This role is pivotal in assisting clients with their banking needs, which may include introducing them to various banking technologies. The UA is responsible for providing information about the bank's products and services while identifying opportunities through conversations to meet clients' financial needs and goals. Adherence to established policies and procedures is crucial, as all associates have access to confidential client information and must practice discretion at all times. In this role, the Universal Associate will be responsive to both Personal Banker and Teller needs of clients. The position requires an energetic and engaging individual who can handle various client interactions effectively. Responsibilities include opening, closing, servicing, and supporting all accounts, products, and services. The UA will utilize various programs to ensure work is completed accurately and in compliance with regulations such as the Bank Secrecy Act and Privacy regulations. Quick and courteous responses to client questions or concerns are essential, as is the ability to cross-sell bank products and services to meet individual and bank goals. The UA will also be responsible for entering data, updating client information, and maintaining the status of referrals and leads in the bank's system. Educating clients about ID fraud and phishing scams is part of the role, as well as processing consumer and commercial transactions, including account deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments. Maintaining cash security and balancing the cash drawer daily are critical tasks, along with following procedures for office opening and closing, and robbery response. The position may also require attending meetings and training sessions as needed, and providing additional support to managers and colleagues.

Requirements
? High school diploma or GED required.
,
? 1-2 years of work experience in client service, sales, and cash handling.

? Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and associates.

? Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures.
,
? Proficiency in data entry and typing.
,
? Basic math skills for computations using business machines or computers.
,
? Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time.
,
? Ability to exercise sound and reasonable judgment.

Nice-to-haves
