Your passion is supporting communities with implementing best practice strategies to provide low and moderate income clients with housing assistance, including housing counseling. At ICF you can put that passion into action by joining our team of experts working to support our work in housing counseling. We partner with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to provide technical assistance. This position is full time and work will be remote. What you?ll be doing
? Work with a diverse set of stakeholders including Fair Housing Initiatives Program (FHIP) or Fair Housing Assistance Program (FHAP) grantees receiving technical assistance through the HUD?s Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity (FHEO)
? Focus work is incredibly diverse within Fair Housing and other related acts and programs
? Develop/deliver training sessions, conference presentations, workshops, and webinars
? Facilitate technical assistance engagements, either in-person or virtually through web-based software
? Focus on best practice and innovative strategies related to fair housing programs
? Contribute to the design of tools, drafting of reports, and development of policy guidance
? Experience and knowledge of utilizing a racial equity lens throughout work products, webinar deliveries, etc.
? Assist in identifying new business opportunities, writing proposals, and managing contracts as requested
? This is a home-based position and up to 25% travel may be required
The minimum qualifications you must have
? Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent in Social Work, Public Administration, Planning, Public Policy, Government or a related discipline or minimum 8 years of professional experience in similar field
? Minimum of 5 years knowledge of one or more of the following RESPA, Fair Lending, Fair Housing, Housing Counseling Program, the housing counseling and mortgage industry, etc.
Skills we would like you to have
? Previous work with FHA in fair lending, or with Government Sponsored Enterprises (GSEs) a plus
? Demonstrated success developing and delivering trainings, workshops and webinars; facilitation, and public speaking to a variety of audiences.
? Knowledge in Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity laws and requirements.
? Working experience with HUD grantees, including those participating in HUD?s Housing Counseling program and/or other grants in Community Planning and Development.
? Experience and expertise in other federal mainstream housing and services programs

? Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities to analyze situations, identify existing or potential problems, and recommend solutions

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is: $62,113.00 - $105,593.00
