Posted 2025-03-15Scheduled Hours 40 Position Summary The Workday Reporting Business Analyst will gather requirements and partner with the business and functional subject matter experts to design and implement reporting solutions using Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields, Discovery Boards, Prism, and other related tools in support of Workday post-production support and optimization Job Description Primary... Duties & Responsibilities Workday Reporting and Support Develops, supports, and maintains reports, dashboards, data models and other solutions as needed to align with business requirements. Serve as a Workday Reporting expert with knowledge of current functionality, design concepts, touchpoints with relevant functional areas and in consideration of future product direction. Provides testing support for release management. Helps develop Workday solutions that meet the distinctive challenges of the institution. Serves as level three support for escalated inquiries, testing and special projects that require deep technical expertise. Business Analysis Solicits and defines requirements and business cases with university partners; Performs requirements management and communication; apply best practices for effective communication and problem-solving. Performs current state analysis and/or root cause analysis as required. Participates in recommending and implementing continuous improvement plans for business analysis measurement. Develops adoption and performance metrics and other methods of evaluating the long-term performance of the solution. Collaboration and Project Management Coordinates activities with university partners and other business analysts. Provides status reports. Adheres to project plans for the timely completion of tasks and resolution of issues to ensure compliance to project deliverables and service agreements. Data Governance Supports Workday data governance policy and processes. Performs data quality and compliance audits. Documentation Cleary documents requirements, establishes scope and objectives and determines strategy for evaluating requirements implementation in systems to achieve business goals. Ensures business opportunities and objectives are clearly articulated. Perform other duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology or related field. Experience with Workday Report Writer. Experience with the Workday Productivity Suite. Knowledge in Financial Planning and Analysis methods and processes. Knowledge of Agile methodology and application of Workday methodology. Workday Pro Certification or Implementer Certification from a certified Workday Partner. Higher education or healthcare delivery system experience. Experience with Workday Financials implementation and/or post-production support. Ability to work independently toward directed tasks and solve complex problems. Experience supporting enterprise class ERP solutions (i.e. Workday, PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle, etc.). Experience gathering requirements, designing, prototyping, testing and deploying solutions to meet customer requirements. Subject Matter Expertise in reporting including developing complex reports, layouts, and analytics for business purposes. Required Qualifications Bachelor?s degree in related field or equivalent combination of experience, certification, and education Two years of relevant experience analyzing business processes and data. Grade G13 Salary Range $65,900.00 - $112,700.00 / Annually The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
