Senior Consultant, People Information Systems (Workday Payroll, Time and Absence)

The Senior People Information Systems Consultant is responsible for the implementation, upgrade, and support of corporate-wide People and Culture systems. This role will support design, configuration, integration, data conversion, security, testing, reporting, and change management activities within Workday HCM. As a liaison between Information Technology (IT) and the business as it relates to People and Culture systems, the team works directly with leaders across all areas to ensure the People and Culture systems meet their needs. The Senior People Information Systems Consultant will collaborate with other areas of the business to analyze and improve processes, leveraging the return on technical capabilities. This role serves as the primary point of contact for the assigned functional area, assisting subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. Additionally, this role will monitor the effectiveness of current business practices and identify areas for improvement and innovation. This role will also mentor other members of the team.
Responsibilities
? Understand the full HR technology landscape, especially HR-related systems and their interactions with other systems.

? Provide Tier 3 production support, including research and resolving issues and enhancements.

? Perform year-end processing, audits, and resolution of third-party interface/data issues.

? Create and run EIBs and work on data imports and exports.

? Perform system maintenance, including assisting in the review, testing, and implementation of people information systems upgrades and patches.

? Drive the business toward Workday best practices for design and build across the "hire to retire" ecosystem.

? Recommend, develop, and implement effective and strategic business solutions through research and analysis of data and business processes.

? Conduct training, including developing user procedures, guidelines, and documentation.

? Develop complex reports for ongoing customer needs and maintain data integrity by utilizing pivot tables and vlookups.

? Lead projects from initiation to completion, managing expectations, timelines, meetings, and resources as needed.
Requirements
? High school diploma or GED.
,
? 10+ years of experience in configuration and technical support of various human resource applications (SAP, Oracle, Workday, Taleo, PeopleSoft, etc.).

? Experience in project management.
,
? Experience mentoring others.
Nice-to-haves
? Bachelor's degree in MIS, computer science, human resources, or business administration; or equivalent work experience.

? Prior Workday experience in one or more of the following modules: Core HR, Payroll, Time and Attendance, Compensation.

? Advanced Workday knowledge.
,
? SAAS configuration experience.
,
? Advanced reporting, Excel, and analytical skills.
