About the Role

The Transaction Coordinator is responsible for voucher processing for single or multiple offices with 20-200 employees. Processes vouchers used to collect the commissions due to CBRE. Ensures deals files are in compliance to Real Estate regulations and facilitates the transfer of financial information to Transaction Accounting.

What You'll Do

Coordinate the timely processing of lease, sale and consulting transactions.

Verify required documents per CBRE's policies and Real Estate guidelines and follows-up to obtain required documents.

Verify transaction voucher against the written contract(s). Enters all lease, sales and consulting information into the Company's database (MTA, etc) according to the organization's guidelines and procedures. Assists in obtaining appropriate approvals and transferring all financial information to Transaction Accounting for further processing.

Create deal files with required documents per CBRE's policies and Real Estate guidelines.

Assist in obtaining necessary verifications from sales professionals on various contingencies in order to adhere to the Company's revenue recognition policies.

Research unidentified cash and works with Business Partners to ensure timely application and/or coordinates refunds, cash transfers, etc.

Provide customer service to sales professionals and business partners.

Other duties may be assigned.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with a minimum of two years of related experience and/or training.

Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor. Ability to effectively present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees.

Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.

Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to solve problems in standard situations. Requires basic analytical skills.

Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Knowledge of Financial software systems.
