We are a small Engineering and Manufacturing team that is seeking an Office Administrator/Bookkeeper to process customer orders, handle accounts payable/receivable, and record financial transactions.
The role is part-time with an expected average of 30 hrs/week.
Duties
- Process customer orders
- Communicate order status to customers
- Invoice customers
- Purchasing
- Inventory management
- Accounts payable
- Accounts receivable
- Recording of financial transactions
- Bank deposits
- Bank account reconciliation
- Packing/shipping
- Travel booking
- Associate?s degree in Business or equivalent
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
- 2+ years of experience recording company financial transactions, ideally using QuickBooks
- Computer literate; Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel
- Good communications skills
- Pleasant attitude when communicating with customers
- Excellent spelling and grammar
- Strong attention to detail, data entry accuracy
- Good numerical skills
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Possess discretion, integrity and transparency when dealing with sensitive financial data
- Willingness to do whatever is needed
- Salary: $20-30 per hr
